Currently we have an exciting career opportunity in our Time & Material team – part of the Operations Finance Department in Sofia as an Associate Finance Analyst. The team is responsible for financial project management of short-duration and smaller scope consulting contracts where revenue recognition and billing happen on incurred hours basis.)
Associate Finance AnalystAs an Associate Finance Analyst, you will be assisting with the preparation of accurate and timely project financial analysis and reporting in support of financial and business objectives.
In addition, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of single service or single region projects and performing various activities as listed below:
Initiating contract startup tasks: overview of the contract and the contractual obligations and data set-up in all appropriate systems
Managing daily contract deliverables and compliance tracking
Daily communications with cross-functional teams within the organization
Monthly billing activities for assigned portfolio
Monitoring and identifying issues related to contract modifications, contract values, and contract deliverables
Performing analysis of actual costs and revenue on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases
Quarterly unbilled reconciliations, close out of studies
Keys to Success:Previous finance-related experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
Previous billing experience would be considered as an advantage
Bachelor degree in Finance/ Accounting or similar would be an advantage
Understanding of general Financial concepts in the area of accounting, billing and/or financial management
Good organizational and time management skills, plus high attention to details
Good written and oral communications skills
Ability to work with large set of financial data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Excel skills
