Overview
The Touro College of Pharmacy invites applications for 12-month faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Social Behavioral and Administrative Sciences. Faculty rank (Associate or Full Professor) will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
+ Didactic teaching, research, and service to the College and University.
+ Primary teaching responsibilities will be coordination and instruction in health systems and policy pharmacy management, pharmacoeconomics, and/or epidemiology in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. The candidate should be able to develop and teach graduate level courses in any of the expertise above.
+ Research responsibilities would include developing and maintaining a sustainable and extramurally funded research program and making significant contributions to research in the department related to one or multiple broader areas including health services, research, pharmacoepidemiology, sociobehavioral aspects of patient care and health outcomes, and related research areas.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
+ Doctor of Pharmacy required
+ Preferred candidates should have a pharmacy degree an earned doctorate in social and administrative pharmacy or a complementary field and at least seven years’ experience in academia.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
+ Possess excellent organizational verbal and written communication skills and be dedicated to student-centered education.
+ A high degree of interpersonal competency: Professionalism, diplomacy, judgement, and discretion required
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

+ Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
Maximum Salary
USD $85,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $68,000.00/Yr.
