Job Description:

It’s an exciting time to join CoreLogic’s Legal Department as an Associate General Counsel, Privacy to help us grow!  Do you have a passion for privacy law? This is your dream job where you will bring your privacy expertise to support our privacy compliance program and advise on new and innovative products.  You will work directly with business leaders and product managers to advise and influence product design.  You will have the opportunity to stay plugged into the ever-changing legal landscape around consumer privacy while making the role your own.

 

Responsibilities include:

Monitor developments in global privacy laws and communicate updates in business terms

Advise product managers, data stewards, and engineers on privacy law compliance

Serve as primary legal advisor to the company’s privacy compliance program

Partner with compliance professionals to maintain appropriate privacy-related policies

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years legal experience, with specific expertise in privacy laws (CCPA, TDPSA, GDPR, etc.) and related consumer laws (FCRA, GLBA)

Juris Doctor (JD) with active license to practice law

Preferred:

Combination of law firm and corporate in-house experience

Experience advising product development teams

Experience in the financial, insurance, and/or real estate industry

Familiarity with legal issues around the use of generative artificial intelligence

IAPP certification(s) (CIPP and/or AIGP)

Abilities:

communicate legal advice in practical terms in a fast-paced business context

interact professionally with internal clients at all levels in the organization

balance and prioritize multiple priorities
