Competitive Pay: $130,000/year, depending on experience

Essential Functions and Duties: Negotiate, manage, and enforce EPC contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements Collaborate with construction, development, and finance teams on project development and financing Proactively manage construction portfolio risk and guide teams in risk mitigation and real-time issue resolution Train teams on contractual requirements and ensure proper implementation Advise on construction and contractual claims, ensuring compliance with lien and bonding laws Oversee the integration of key provisions from financing and EPC agreements into procurement and subcontract agreements Support project teams in meeting subcontracting requirements and resolving issues
Qualifications: Mandatory minimum of 3-5 years of corporate and EPC experience in the energy industry, preferably in solar or renewable energy J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school Significant transactional experience in a law firm or in-house at an energy or construction company Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating utility-scale solar and storage contracts Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Ability to manage conflict and mitigate risk Experience with renewable energy project finance transactions Active U.S. law license Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments Independent worker, capable of identifying issues and proposing solutions
