Associate General Counsel

Description:Attorney position supporting all aspects of the F-35 Lightning II Program.

Attorney will handle legal work associated with Production, International, Development & Follow-on Modernization, Sustainment and Supply Chain Management. Responsibilities include full spectrum of government and commercial contracting from proposals to claims as well as being able to provide advice on data rights and program-related disputes at prime and subcontract levels.
Will negotiate and develop traditional and innovative contractual arrangements and terms. Attorney must collaborate closely with vice president level program leadership and government and industry counterparts as well as other attorneys on the program and in the department.
Position will also manage outside counsel.
Strong leadership, communication and writing skills expected.
Must be able to act independently but also under guidance of senior leadership when necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
• J.D. degree.
• 10+ years of Government Contracts Legal experience.
• Experience with Major Weapons Systems or Major Programs Acquisition and Performance.
• Experience with intellectual property data rights under DFARS.
• Licensed to Practice Law in the U.S.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Aerospace & Defense Industry.
• Experience on a major aircraft development, production or sustainment program.
• International Contracting legal experience.
• FMS or Cooperative Program experience.
• Experience with claims and REAs.
• Familiarity with government cost principles and accounting standards.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
