Design and Planification

Work with various cross functional team to design, execute and maintain the PPS and Airport Systems. Contribute to strategic planning for solutions. Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization. Drive technical innovation and efficiency in operations via automation and orchestration. Conduct capacity planning analysis and budget planning.

Subject Matter Expert

Be the first line of contact for daily operations. monitor, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed. Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence. Assist all support teams and services with application related questions, systems design, problem resolution, etc. Manage security-related aspects of the applications, including various compliance laid out internally and other standards relevant to our industry.

Administration and Maintenance

Manage the monitoring, updating, optimization, redundancy, stability of PPS solutions and take control over business as usual. Monitor system status, activity, performance metrics and capacity.  Monitor the elasticity of PPS solutions and report irregularities and identify possible incidents. Monitor & ensure the regular scheduled backups are done as per schedule with PPS vendors & work closely with LOB teams for restoration drills. Ensure that automated monitoring and reporting of PPS cloud infrastructure health & performance are done by the PPS vendors. Build a process oriented environment and all activities, architecture has to be well documented. Vendor management in terms of service review, relationship building, risk assessment & financial management.

Cost discipline

Keep close eyes on monthly billing and look at all possible ways to optimize the cost. Would perform regular analysis of existing PPS application posture to find opportunities for cost optimization.

Project management

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT/Digital Projects, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery within defined parameters. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.  Proactively monitor project progress, expediting, risk mitigation and management of projects from design, implementation through commissioning stages. Responsible for change management, problem management, incident management related to IT projects.

Business continuity

Lead and execute the disaster recovery drill initiatives. Establish and manage relations with external partners. Coordination with multiple stakeholders at Airports – Project. Group tech team and Adani HO for standardization of systems and work processes. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people in large echo system.

Continuous Improvement- 

Identify and implement opportunities for service improvement and adopt and implement industry best practices and standards. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT service management.

Technical expertise-

Responsible in delivery of Airport Technology Systems (PPS & Other Airport IT Systems) and Projects on end-to-end basis as per Agile methodology starting from design, planning and development, budget monitoring, risk management, deployment, UAT and project completion for multiple Airport Terminal Buildings etc., Lead and manage the development of design basis report, concept, schematic, detailed design, system integration & interfacing.

End user experience-

Oversee the day-to-day operations of CUPPS, CUSS, BRS & SBD services. Responsible for managing and support of operation teams/airlines service requests and coordinating with PPS vendors on the SRs. Implementing operational best practices and continuous Service Management improvement process. Ensures service levels are met and end-user satisfaction is achieved. Provides technical expertise for both tactical and strategic initiatives. Ensures IT processes are service oriented, and business focused. Provides detail and summary reporting for key metrics. Leads, mentor and develops partner team members. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an IT or similar discipline from an institute recognized by UGC / AICTE. Professional certifications: PMP, ITIL Framework, Cyber Security 

•           Understanding of applicable IATA standards

•           Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI will be given preference but not mandatory

15+ years of experience designing IT infrastructure projects for airports or similar large projects with:

• Must have experience in virtualization and cloud infra design and execution.

• Should have experience in design development of airport systems like CUPPS, CUSS, BRS, SBD and system integration of multiple airport/airline systems via ESB. 

 

Minimum of one Airport Experience either India or Aboard is must
