Position Summary:

The Patient Food Services Associate, will be responsible for serving patients food in an attractive, sanitary manner. Focused on Trayline work- Light food prep, stocking meal carts, delivering meals to patient rooms, retrieving trays once completed Assisting in other areas within the food service department as directed and when needed The Patient Food Service Associate will need to be reliable, dependable and comfortable interacting with patients while entering their rooms with their meal. Strong customer services skills to appropriately interact with patients, coworkers, customers, etc

Shift:

Full-time, Evening shift (40 hours per week)

12:00pm - 8:30pm

Weekend Work Required

Location: Suburban Hospital,

8600 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814

Education/ Experience

High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required One (1) year of relevant food or customer service experience preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

ServSafe Certification preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 18.00 per hour - Maximum 28.06 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
