Job Description We are looking for engineers who will be responsible to support graphics and linux related issues for post-launch Intel products. In this role, you will be supporting leading graphics, media and display technologies and will be working closing with other software support engineers. Requirements Knowledge of GPU and/or CPU architecture, graphics driver & good knowledge of embedded graphic transmitters and display technologies. Knowledge of Intel Graphics driver porting, 2D and/or 3D graphics INF, DirectX/OpenGL Strong fundamental of video playback technology in the area of video encode, video decode and transcode compression standards, format, profiles and levels (H.264, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VC-1, DXVA & etc.) Good understanding of hardware interaction, specifically for Graphics Chipsets, monitors, and display ports Proficient in display interfaces (VGA, HDMI, Display Port, LVDS, eDP), VESA specifications for EDID are an added advantages Deep knowledge of varied Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Yocto, Redhat, CentOS and Windows OS environment Understanding of Intel Architecture-based CPU and chipsets Understanding of x86 Boot Process, BIOS and firmware integration and debug would be an added advantage Knowledge in C, Python and Shell programming is an added advantage Qualifications Candidates must possess a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with 1 - 3 years' experience in IA validation, test or technical support.
