Title: Associate II, Training (RN)
Role Description:
The Associate II, Training is a skilled facilitator of learning who is accountable for effectively delivering - in accordance with a proprietary framework for learning delivery excellence - a variety of highly visible, highly important learning programs across different modalities and tools. Primarily, this role will support delivery of enterprise-wide and care team-specific new-hire onboarding training. This role will deliver and facilitate primarily enterprise-wide NOJ (New Oaky Journey) days 1-2 training and care team-centered new hire training role-based training days 3-5.
Core Responsibilities:
Facilitate meaningful virtual (primarily) and in-person (occasionally, as needed) learning experiences using a variety of tools and across a range of subject areas such as onboarding training, care-team training, and more
Provide coaching and feedback to learners during and outside of training sessions
Manage logistics for learning programs as needed, including scheduling, preparing and disseminating training materials and coordinating with participants
Keep up-to-date with Oak Street Health workflows; Oak Street best practices; and industry trends, and incorporate into training programs when appropriate
Other duties, as assigned
What are we looking for?
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Expertise in Oak Street Health care model and operations or 1-2 years of experience in training front-line employees in a clinical or corporate healthcare setting
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and motivate learners in gaining comprehensive understanding of learning content
Excellent time management awareness and skills
Critical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other learning stakeholders in ensuring training content is up-to-date and relevant
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare, instructional design, or communications is preferred
Excellent judgment, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Clear, direct, and accessible verbal communication skills
Excellent listening and feedback delivery skills
Strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices in training and development
Experience working on a multidisciplinary Learning team
Knowledge of/prior experience with, or an ability to quickly come up to speed on, Oak Street Health's care model
Ability to travel as needed (approx. 10% of the time with advanced notice)
Experience working with Medicare is preferred
Experience with measuring training effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement is preferred
Proficiency with (or an ability to quickly learn) the following job-related tools is preferred:
Video conferencing software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meets
Presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides
Interactive whiteboards such as Miro, Google Jamboard, or Microsoft Whiteboard
