Job Summary:
We are currently looking to add to our team with an exciting opportunity as an Associate II – Producer and Broker Payables. As a producer and broker payable associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payment processing of our commission and bonus payments. Working closely with various internal departments and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the efficient management of producer and broker payments while maintaining strong relationships with our valued sales team.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate consistent level of execution on processing producer and broker payables.
Processes producer and broker payable tasks promptly and accurately with moderate support/consultation by higher levels and minimal need for rework/revision.
Ability to evaluate situations and determine when items should be escalated to management.
Regularly seeks feedback from others with the ability to apply to current and future tasks
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Consistently meets daily and weekly metrics.
Collaborates with internal departments to address payment-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with payment processing guidelines.
Understands and adheres to Acrisure’s accounting best practices.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy
Shows initiative to complete work without the prompting of others.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-year general accounting background required
Familiarity with insurance agency management systems and processes helpful
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
