Contract Position

Responsibilities:
Manage all procurement activities, including solicitation and preparation of RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.Conduct cost and price analysis of proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, and prepare purchase orders to support program requirements.Administer purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring cost control, quality, and on-time delivery.Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) needs and coordinate the "Source Selection" process.Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal departments, resolving quality, design, and payment issues.Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations and coordinate kick-off meetings and on-site reviews at supplier locations.Review and analyze planning to ensure subcontracts and purchase orders align with supplier lead times.Perform other duties as assigned to meet program objectives.Support procurement operations by managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and overseeing all aspects of subcontract and purchase order administration.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (required).Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Oracle systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet-based business applications.Experience and Expertise:
Experience in cost and price analysis, proposal negotiations, and subcontract administration.Understanding of procurement processes, systems, and compliance requirements.Other Requirements:
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.Strong problem-solving, communication, and program management skills.Ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.Your Recruiter Still have questions?
