Job Description We are looking for engineers who will be responsible to support network/ethernet related design-in technical issues for post-launch Intel products. In this role, you will be supporting leading edge network adapters and other network related products to be used in data centers across the world. You will be acting as a platform technical expert to support customers, resolving customer questions, triage and debug customers issues and will be working closing with the other product support engineers and network division team. Technical Requirements • Experience working with Ethernet design-in type cases • Has computer architecture knowledge and understanding of Intel Architecture-based CPU and chipsets • Has knowledge of board design, digital design, transmission lines, micro-controller based designs, power electronics areas • Has knowledge on signal integrity and power delivery of IA platform and experience with signal integrity simulation tools / power integrity tools • Understanding of schematics / layouts of electrical circuits & reviewing skill (especially on Ethernet Design Schematics as it relates to Network Adapter / LOM (LAN on Motherboard) architecture) • Working knowledge of Ethernet controllers (Eg. Customize LED Settings, Adjust Link Speeds, Throughput/Performance test) • Strong debugging & troubleshooting capability • Proficient in Windows/Linux Operating Systems • Experience troubleshooting & debugging connectivity issues using available tools/utilities (Eg. Ethernet JTag Debugger, Common Connectivity, debug/tools) – Added advantage • Knowledge on PCI-E device installation & configuration, BER (bit error rate) & measurements, controller and platform Wake on LAN (WOL) requirements – Added advantage • Working knowledge of Intel Ethernet Adapter (Eg. 1GbE, 10GbE, 25GbE & 40GbE) and some knowledge of 50GbE and 100GbE - strongly desired Qualifications • Candidates must possess a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with 3 - 5 years' of relevant experience • Experience in designing, debugging, validating boards containing PCI express and high-speed Ethernet interfaces - 1/10/25/40/100G+ is an added advantage • Analytical and strong problem solving skills, and ability to drive issues to closure are essential • Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency across English & Mandarin are a must
