Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Specialist to support the Air Dominance Government Security Midwest Region in Berkeley, MO! This position will support Government Contract Labor efforts.

Position Responsibilities:

Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsIdentifies deficiencies and recommends corrective actionAssists with Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsAssists with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (to include inventory, distribution and destruction)Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosuresDevelops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programsPerforms Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accessesAssists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and informationAssists in Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirementsAssists in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirementsParticipates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) sub or task teamsAssists less experienced personnel with Administrative Inquiries

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience in Industrial SecuritySuccessfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 6 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer requiredAbility to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience with one of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI3+ years of experience with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $65,450 – $88,550
