Job Description:

We’re looking for an Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to join our GOCC Cloud Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to complete activities associated with providing the 24/7/365 operations required to maintain Manulife’s infrastructure and IT services by identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing events and incidents and completing service requests and BAU tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring infrastructure components on-premises and in the cloud, troubleshoots system operating problems and determine the cause of system interruptions1st Level support for issues related to infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS componentsPerforms system checks and basic maintenance plansAssist Infrastructure/DevOps/Application Teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasksAssist in the coordination and resolution of incidents

Qualifications:

Education: Must possess at least a bachelor's degree.Experience: 1 to 3 years’ experience in supporting applications in production environments running on Linux or Windows.Work Arrangement: This position requires to work onsite.Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:ITIL v3 Foundation CertificationExperience in Microsoft AzureExperience in working with IaaS and PaaS in Microsoft Azure such as Managed SQL web apps, etcKnowledge in Incident Management and Problem ManagementConfident in engaging with other teams in joint troubleshootingProfessional with good communication skillsRelevant experience from working in DevOps organizations
