Associate Internal Wholesaler PCN

Job Summary:

Will support an external wholesaler in defined states and inside a defined region alongside a team of other internal wholesalers. Will use their skills to assist external wholesaler in providing support for life insurance, disability insurance and long term care insurance for advisors in the territory. Will also be responsible for running illustrations, presenting sales ideas, making proactive calls and assisting in growing advisor adoption in the region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Run life, disability, and LTC illustrations and or assist with ordering IFLs.

• Assists in aspects of the sales process.

• Schedules appointments for External Wholesalers and/or Internal Wholesalers.

• Supports External Wholesaler with organization of marketing campaigns.

• Acts as point of contact for assigned region by providing phone coverage and email support.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• The insurance industry and products

• Use of illustration software including Winflex and Ensight.

• Understanding of basic insurance concepts: term, permanent, Universal Life, Whole Life, Asset Based LTC, etc…

• General understanding of disability coverage and long term care coverage

Skill in

• Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

• Detail orientation to ensure quality standards are met without impairing workflow.

• Identifying the needs of customers through effective questioning and listening techniques.

• Follow-up to ensure resolution and completion of tasks.

• Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication and spreadsheets. (Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM)

Ability to

• Represent Raymond James in a highly professional manner.

• Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Take on responsibilities beyond what is required; volunteers to take on new assignments.

• Exhibit tendencies to be a self-starter and not wait for signals.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

•Associate’s Degree (A.A.) in related field and/or one (1) to three (3) years financial industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.

•Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Life and Health (2-15) to be acquired within (6) months of hire date.

• SIE and Series 7 License Preferred or to be obtained within six (6) months of hire date.

• Additional licenses as required by roles functions to be obtained within six (6) months of hire date
