Swagelok is excited to offer an exciting entry level opportunity in our Information Technology department, designed to expose recent graduates with a comprehensive and hands-on introduction to various aspects of IT. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to different IT functions, including but not limited to, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, business operations, data analytics and governance, and project management. The work experiences will be supplemented with ongoing mentoring and developmental support from key leaders across the organization. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to jump start your IT career and find your footing along the way in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support small to large projects and or programs. Engage in hands-on work, projects, and tasks aligned with the goals and objectives of each functional area. Review and analyze best practices to determine, recommend and or implement next steps. Gain knowledge of key programs and policies that are critical to the business. Take advantage of training opportunities, mentorship, and coaching. Continuously expand knowledge and skills in various areas of IT through formal training sessions, workshops, and self-directed learning. Contribute to IT projects and initiatives, collaborating with team members to achieve project milestones and deliverables. Gain exposure to project management methodologies, software development lifecycle, IT business operations and IT best practices. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges encountered during rotations. Work independently or in teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.This job description outlines the general responsibilities and qualifications for the Associate IT Analyst. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree
• Intern, co-op or other relevant experience
Basic understanding of IT concepts and technologies, including but not limited to networking, cybersecurity, software development, data and analytics and database management. Proficiency in programming languages, operating systems, and productivity tools is a plus.

Preferred Requirements:
• A BS Degree in IT, computer science/engineering or data analytics.
• Demonstrated leadership experience through extracurriculars, work experience and community involvement.
Working conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
