Title:

Associate IT Customer Support Technician

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Associate, IT Customer Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of IT equipment and supplies, ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, strong technical knowledge, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record IT equipment deliveries, ensuring that all items match purchase orders and specifications. Store IT equipment and components in the warehouse, following proper storage protocols to prevent damage or loss. Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels using inventory management software. Complete desktop configuration, prepare equipment for deployment to end users. Coordinate with the IT department to fulfill equipment requests and support troubleshooting efforts as needed. Label and tag equipment, ensuring all items are identifiable and properly tracked. Assist with disposal, delivery and returns processes as required. Physical movement of hardware equipment is required as part of the role (i.e. moving around office, into and out of storerooms, carrying where appropriate, etc.) Provide assistance to users with KBR Apps / MFA on    personal devices. Assist with Desktop Incident Management support to users who are based in the office or working remotely Good Knowledge in ServiceNow and Escalates incidents not resolved within established service levels. Always follow KBR IT processes for delivery and support. Ensures work is performed in accordance to company policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant technical certification is a plus.Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or IT asset management.Familiarity with IT equipment, such as servers, computers, networking devices, and peripherals.Basic understanding of inventory management software and databases.Proficiency in using basic office tools and equipment, including barcode scanners and computers.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP).Knowledge of IT inventory lifecycle management and industry best practices.Certification in warehouse management or supply chain operations (e.g., Certified Warehouse Professional).

Working Conditions:

The role may involve extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting.May require working overtime or on-call availability during peak periods.The warehouse environment is typically a non-climate-controlled space with exposure to varying temperatures.
