What You Will Do:

The candidate will support strategic initiatives and operational activities for Guidehouse clients. This position will be responsible for advising senior-level clients, implementing strategic initiatives, executing long-term programmatic planning efforts, responding to emerging priorities, and operating within matrixed teams at client offices.

This position will:

Advise clients on IT strategy and modernization of enterprise including on digital applications, digital services, data, AI, analytics, data visualization, cloud, and IT infrastructure.Provide expertise in innovation and emerging technologies dealing with identification, market research, and prototyping of new technologies, processes, and operating models to promote efficiency and effectiveness in government’s operations.Support project management of cross-functional teams using best practices in governance, change management, stakeholder management, risk management, financial control, and quality control.Be an excellent written and oral communicator and be comfortable in interacting with clients and serving as a confidant of senior consulting and client leadership.Support team in advising and developing state of the art knowledge management solutions for use by multiple organizations within an enterprise.Use cutting-edge platforms, tools, and associated analytical models to support strategic initiatives, project management, and knowledge management within client’s IT organization.Provide strategic communications for executive visioning, planning, and operations.Support acquisition, procurement, and contracting, according to the DHS acquisition lifecycle framework (ALF), including in areas of acquisition program management, capability gap analyses, IT Acquisition Review (ITAR), Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Purchase Acquisition Requests lifecycle.Support IT governance, reporting, and prioritization to focus on strategic priorities, in consultation with organizational stakeholders.Support client and stakeholder engagements to plan for and address risks and issues as they occur to ensure that projects remain on schedule and within budget.


What You Will Need:

Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust.Bachelor's degree.TWO (2) or more years of management and/or technology consulting experience.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Existing DHS or TSA Suitability.Experience supporting federal government customers and/or prior experience within the federal government.Relevant certifications including but not limited to: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Scrum-master certification, SAFe certification, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, IT Service Management (ITSM) certification, or IT Asset Management (ITAM) certification.Demonstrated experience in writing, presentation, go-to-market support, and interfacing with prospective clientele as it relates to technology management, IT strategy, and/or analytics.Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills targeting all levels of an organization and across business and technical functions leveraging visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Power Apps, Tableau, PowerPoint).
