MUST have Washington MA-PA certification 

SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours per week. Location operates 24/7, 365. Schedule need is varied and could be days/evenings/nights, including weekends. 

While assigned to the hospital laboratory, or other locations, performs procedures that are necessary for specimen collection on patients in all age groups (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) including patient identification, patient preparation and verification of specimen according to laboratory procedures. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Required Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college or military program. Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Or Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior phlebotomy experience.
