PRH Consumer Marketing is seeking an Associate Manager to join the Ad Operations team supporting the Crown Publishing Group (CPG). The Ad Ops team, within the Consumer Marketing team at PRH, is a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to media planning, execution, and optimization.

The Associate Manager will report to the Associate Director of Ad Operations and will be responsible for set-up and management of self-serve advertising campaigns, across search, social, and programmatic platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a curious, strategic, and enthusiastic digital marketer to join a growth-oriented Advertising team at the heart of the largest trade book publisher in the US, and to work on campaigns for award-winning and bestselling fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, graphic novels, and more.

The Role:   

Work closely with CPG marketing team and fellow Advertising team counterparts, planning ad campaigns in support of hundreds of titles annually, providing strategic and tactical recommendations for meeting campaign goals  Build and actively manage and optimize dozens of live digital campaigns across multiple platforms at any given time  Manage implementation of ad operations requirements for advertising campaigns, including tracking, tagging, and campaign set-up    Work closely with internal marketing teams to troubleshoot ad platform issues    Collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to compile and deliver regular campaign reports to help guide marketers on best practices and identify areas of improvement   Contribute to regular campaign planning meetings with divisional marketers by sharing thoughtful and strategic and recommendations to support their titles and marketing goals  Provide tactical recommendations at the objective, timing, audience, placement, and platform levels to deliver strong performance and align with campaign goals   Work within project management system to coordinate with design colleagues, complete tasks, and track progress of dozens of campaigns in various stages at once 

 

The Essentials:   

Minimum 3 years of experience in digital advertising, ad operations, digital marketing, or similar role     Strong grasp of the language of digital marketing metrics and online measurement (CTR, CPM, ROAS, etc.)  Understanding of general best practices for paid search, social, and programmatic advertising   Experience managing campaigns within ad platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.  Professional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting and meeting virtually  Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail    Ability to interpret performance metrics, extract insights, and translate complex and technical details clearly for stakeholders  Ability to work independently and manage own projects in a fast-paced environment, as well as collaborate with and support efforts of the larger team    Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and growing, including adopting new technologies and tools, and evolving strategies and processes  Experience working with project management systems (ie Workfront, Basecamp, AirTable) a plus  Interest in books, cooking, and current events a plus!  

 

The salary for this position is $66,500.  All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.

The salary range listed is specific to each particular open position and takes into account various factors including the specifics of the individual role, and candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
