Starbucks is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed marketing specialist to contribute to the brand and business success by supporting marketing managers. This job contributes to Starbucks success by assisting in the implementation of integrated marketing plans and initiatives for a promotion, brand initiative, or category. The ideal candidate models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. This role works with brand and communication managers in Miami and Seattle, as well as with market licensees and other external organizations. This is an opportunity to help lead Latin America & Caribbean regional marketing strategies that have a huge impact on one of the leading global brands, building on the already significant momentum of marketing at Starbucks.
As an associate manager, Product & Brand you will…
Assist with the development of brand marketing and communications plans.
Prepare written communication materials such as creative and project briefs, toolkit content, promotional and meeting recaps and project recommendations.
Manage project timelines to deliver campaigns, working with cross-functional partners to ensure the best available costs, terms and quality.
Assist in the management of agency and vendor relations, serving as one of the primary contacts, ensuring agency/vendor agreements are honored in a timely and cost-effective manner while resolving conflicts and issues.
Support marketing activities and material development for beverage, food, merchandising, coffee engagement, sustainability, partnership and evergreen programs and campaigns.
Support store materials and social media digital assets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing marketing efforts through pre- and post-production reports.
Develop and manage tracking system for competitive information, brands, marketing, category and consumer trends.
We’d love to hear from people with:
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, marketing, communications or similar field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in agency advertising, retail or consumer product brand/communications management
Minimum of 2 years of experience in product or brand management
Previous experience supporting the execution of integrated marketing plans
Minimum of 1 year of project management experience
Fluent in Spanish and English
Willing to travel approximately 10% both domestically and internationally
Previous experience in marketing program development, planning and implementation
Strong presentation, communication and decision-making skills

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
