May manage projects or processes with general supervision. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified, sensitive, or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Researches and implements federal security regulations, maintaining knowledge and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements (finance, cyber, information technology, and trade compliance). Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and access by personnel or visitors to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education training and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Collects, assimilates, and interprets intelligence information and disseminates to the appropriate stakeholder or investigating authority. Conducts security self-inspection audits. Essential Functions: + Managing/ Supervising the L3Harris guard force on a daily basis. The development and implementation of the guard force to comply with policies and operating procedures supporting government, customer agency requirements imposed on L3Harris for physical security. + Assists in the development and implementation of policies and operating procedures supporting government, customer agency requirements. + Conducts security education classes and security self-inspection audits. + Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials. + Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. + Oversees the installation and maintenance of all alarm and access control systems. + Leads a team of employees and produces results. + Communicates with all levels of employees and government customers + Troubleshoots issues and works independently. + The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Qualifications: + Active Secret Clearance. + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience Preferred Additional Skills: + Experience with Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems. + Working knowledge of all applicable DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD. Instruction 52.05.11, NISPOM, & ICD 705 requires practical knowledge of job area. typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. + Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities. + Able to socialize ideas, make recommendations, and gain team consensus. + Excellent time management and task prioritization skills. + Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. + Customer relationship building skills. + Able to work well as part of a team. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $84,500 - $157,500. is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
