As an Associate Manager, Production, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily production activities and operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP/Food Safety protocols, and the SQF System. This role involves establishing performance standards, verifying results, determining workflow, and troubleshooting problems.

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Directly manage all Production Labor employees.

• Provide formulations to production personnel, ensuring customer requirements and shipping schedules are met.

• Collaborate daily with the Production Manager, Scheduler, personnel, and quality department to meet product specifications.

• Review and verify daily production batch paperwork for accuracy and completion.

• Enforce GMPs, ensure compliance with SQF 2000 code, and assist with audits.

• Manage contractor and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring GMP adherence and cleanup.

You Bring:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field is strongly preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food/flavor industry.

• Prior experience managing a team of production employees.

• Knowledge of food products, processing techniques, equipment, and inspection procedures.

• Understanding of GMPs, quality, HACCP, and SQF 2000 standards.

• HACCP Training Certification is preferred.

• Ability to interpret formulas and processes.

• Strong problem-solving and corrective action skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
