Associate Manager, Quality Control
Job Title: Associate Manager, Quality Control Job Code: 21022 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 1st shift- 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: + Supervises a multi shift team of Quality Assurance inspectors & quality technicians providing day-to-day work direction for direct reports to ensure steady workflow, productivity and resolving operational decisions in support of business objectives. Essential Functions: + Provides inputs on staffing, employe performance management, and tooling and equipment necessary to properly inspect electromechanical assemblies. + Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. + Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. + Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards. + Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors/technicians to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions. + Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes. + Oversees inspection department prioritization and coordination of a team of multi shift production inspectors & technicians. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags. + Develops and continuously improves inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures. + Participates in corrective and preventative actions, including: customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings. + Oversee Resources to perform measurement systems analysis (TMV, GRR) to evaluate test and inspection equipment + Serve as Inspection continuity for Operations Teams during shifts in business needs. + Other Duties, as Assigned. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
