Associate Manager, Research Program Management

We are looking for an Associate Manager to join the Research Program Management (RPM) team. This person will provide operational guidance and drive key deliverables for our cross-functional teams. Using scientific expertise, preferably in the areas of conjugation chemistry, this person will plan and coordinate the operational aspects of projects to facilitate their evolution through the project life cycle. This person should have a general understanding of antibodies and their structure and function, a basic knowledge of chemistry and how to apply that to generating conjugates. Some experience with project management is a plus. This role is onsite at our Tarrytown, NY campus.
As an Associate Program Manager, a typical day might include:
+ **Drive results:** Execute management of projects and tasks with some guidance with awareness of internal and external interdependencies.
+ **Problem solving** : identifying and working with teams to resolve critical gaps, risks or issues, as related to assigned programs, projects and tasks.
+ **Teams** : Liaises between functional areas to facilitate project planning. Facilitating the development, maintenance and execution of proposed research studies and ensures alignment across functional areas.
+ **Planning & Tracking** : Provide team support including meeting logistics, as well as creation & maintenance of templates, best practices, tracking and monitoring tools.
+ **Communication** : Supports cross-functional teams and leads program deliverables in a matrix organization; support and coordinate external collaboration meetings, tools & environment to advance key program deliverables.
+ **Drug Development** : Identifying and understanding key data / information required to drive decision & next steps through discovery and drug development process.
+ **Process Improvement** : Creating new processes with guidance, leads the development and gains alignment on process improvement solutions, advised by knowledge of technical / scientific challenges faced by the project teams.

To be considered for this role, you must have knowledge or experience with conjugation chemistry, antibodies, antibody conjugation, or antibody development. Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or a related field and typically 7+ years of proven experience or master’s degree in biological sciences or similar field with 5+ years of highly proven experience, or a PhD in biological sciences or similar field with 0-5 years of proven experience preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of project management techniques and concepts as they apply to the drug development / pharmaceutical industry is highly redired. Proficiency in relevant software and applications is highly desirable: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, MS Teams.
