Job Description

We are looking for an organized and proactive Associate Manager of Communications Planning to support integrated marketing communication efforts for our destination. In this role, you will oversee campaign timelines, track media and messaging, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver engaging, cohesive campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communication Planning and Management:

Understand and integrate key goals, expectations and audience needs outlined in the Integrated Channel Plan and Trimester Messaging.Work closely with the Director of Comms Planning on campaign oversight and media tracking for all campaigns, offers, and new initiatives.Help develop communication playbooks and timelines for offers and campaigns.Communicate with Project Managers and Creative team to align on master timelines and pre-arrange necessary resources.Provide support to the communications planning team for ad hoc needs and special projects as required.Serve as a key point of coordination between departments, ensuring timely delivery of materials and alignment with communication goals.

2. Media and Messaging Tracking:

Work with cross-functional teams (creative, media, content) to coordinate assets and approvals.Review messaging for consistency with brand guidelines and objectives.Maintain and update the integrated marketing communication messaging tracker, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.Monitor media coverage and share updates with the communications planning team to inform strategies and messaging.Assist in tracking campaign progress and compiling reports on campaign creative and statuses, media performance, and optimization opportunities.

3. Data and Insights Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and materials for new initiatives.Work closely with the Data Analyst and data team to monitor and evaluate data-driven insights.Leverage insights from the Data Analyst to refine campaign strategies and improve outcomes.Use analytical findings to refine communication strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media or related field.2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, Media or related roles. Entertainment, travel or theme park industry preferred.Strong writing, visual content creation, and analytical skills.Proficiency in management tools, data analytics is a plus.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
