Summary:  Under the guidance of Senior Manager - Facilities Management & Operations, support management of daily facilities operations and teams for defined locations. Responsible for ensuring facilities adhere to company standards and practices, along with state, federal and local regulations. Implement and optimize standard operating procedures. Maintain equipment, infrastructure, and systems to ensure minimal risk to operations. Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the property management team.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain and update records for equipment, systems, and supplies used in the facility. Manage/ lead facility staff, including maintenance, custodial teams, and third-party vendors, to maintain adherence to departmental and location guidelines. Collaborate with facility managers and site leaders to develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for facility operations. Facilitate communication between business units to a create cohesive work environment with a focus on continuous improvement. Participate in capital project management. Responsible for supporting departmental objectives to ensure execution to plan, budget, and outcome. Present project timelines, updates, and deliverables. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Facility Engineering or related field preferred. 5 years of facilities management experience required with 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably of hourly maintenance staff. Must be able to be present in the manufacturing environment on a regular basis for extended periods of time and is therefore subject to normal exposures to dust, heat, chemicals, and noise present in a manufacturing environment. Travel between local facilities, vendors, and training sites is expected. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, and clients. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facilities management software.
