Associate Manager Media Strategy and Planning

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Partner with and support Managers and the collective Media Strategy & Planning team in the development, stewardship and reporting of Local and National paid media initiatives for the Inspire Brands portfolio. This includes working with Managers on the critical role of maintaining accurate financial stewardship across the brand portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Media Strategy & Planning (MS&P)

Support the general day-to-day functions as led by Managers, Media Strategy & PlanningManage the budget, billing and invoice process across the National/Local disciplines to ensure all expenses are on time and on budgetMaintain media plan budgets and billingsGenerate and communicate necessary financial records, including cross-comparing actuals vs. plans to better enable accruals and forecastsProper management and reconciliation of all account budgets in accordance with media authorizationsDevelop and maintain relationships with agency personnel related to budget management processes and deliverablesEnsure key information is provided to appropriate individuals and teams regarding budget management issuesBudgeting and forecasting company revenues and internal operating expenses, as well as reconciling data from multiple financial databasesInterface with external/internal teams in managing requests concerning processes and deliverables. This will include but not be limited to internal brand and enterprise analytics teams and 3rd party auditors

Partner with Managers to support the various steps required to ensure proper asset alignment (including creative & traffic fulfillment) across media buys; this will include verification of coding/tagging as necessary across TV/Digital buys for measurement reporting and accuracySupport the integrated reporting of documents – including a migration to dashboard reporting – as needed by cross functional team members for internal and external purposes Attend regular status meetings (both internal and external) to help prioritize deliverables and timelines with ManagersProvide general team support as needed based on internal priorities and scope of projects

Agency and Cross-Functional Internal Teams Collaboration

Partner with the media analytics team to measure impact of ongoing campaigns and overall planCo-lead competitive tracking on a regular basis and/or as neededPartner with MS&P and Connections Planning teams to develop a learning agenda and testing roadmap based on the brands objectives, insights, and key challenges

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

               Required Minimum:  Bachelor’s degree

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

3 – 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and / or mediaDemonstrated experience in problem solving and managing multiple tasks

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

Ability to lead teams and deliver resultsExcellent project management skills (proficiency in Excel/PPT will be key)Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet project deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to lead and influence othersPersonal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humorPassion for the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations. A strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire BrandsSelf-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision
