THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE As the Associate Manager, Social Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing Ulta Beauty’s social strategy to engage and inspire our growing community of beauty enthusiasts. Social media serves as a key touchpoint for our guests, and you will collaborate cross-functionally to integrate our content and strategies across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in social media, including content creation, amplification, in-depth reporting and measurement. They are strategic and analytical yet highly creative, while immersed in the beauty industry, pop culture, and digital trends. They excel at developing engaging content, building communities, and attracting new audiences. This role sits within our Social Center of Excellence, working closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to execute innovative content, campaigns, and strategies to support our enterprise goals. YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY Thought Leadership Help to shape and maintain a unified media strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels, while optimizing Ulta Beauty’s organic social presence. Identify opportunities to elevate the Ulta Beauty brand through social buzz around launches, promotional, and cultural moments. Inspire bar-raising ideas to enhance social strategy and brand storytelling. Strategic Planning & Optimization Develop strategic plans across key categories and promotional events to drive relevance and conversion. Craft platform-specific strategies that leverage each platform’s strengths and align with the overall marketing ecosystem. Build engaging content strategies that support various campaigns, from promotional moments to leveraging emerging social trends. Support content development, distribution, and community management across major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Use consumer insights to amplify organic and influencer content via paid channels to maximize impact. Promote constant learning through campaign analysis and optimization. Collaboration & Reporting Partner with agencies, social platforms, and internal teams to ensure aligned execution and exceptional guest experiences. Monitor and measure initiatives, optimize performance, and share actionable insights #LI-JR THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS 4+ years of social strategy and campaign execution experience at an agency or in-house. Expertise in paid social strategy and leveraging insights to amplify organic and influencer content. Experience building engaging content strategies that align with both campaign goals and social trends. Deep knowledge of social platforms, trends, and best practices. Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into impactful narratives. Collaborative, innovative, and passionate about connecting with audiences authentically.
