Digital Project Manager (DPM)

Position Description: Lilly GCH team embarks on an exciting journey, where we develop tactics like RTE, CLM and animated ban. This role would require becoming a liaison between Marketers, SALs, Writers and Promotions Managers to create tactics through AEM and in home grown Tech platforms. The tactics and modules will be created using the Agile methodology as well as traditional waterfall approach hence the DPM should be efficient in stakeholder management, communication, overall owner of VVPM to effectively communicate the timelines to team members. The primary responsibility is to support Digital team as a project manager in implementing digital projects through our marketing material approval system with a focus on bringing accurate and compliant marketing materials to market quickly, efficiently and on schedule. The primary role is to partner with brands, internal partners, affiliates to ensure quality, speed, and value throughout the Content Lifecycle with a focus on increased speed, improved quality, and reduction of re-work. The Digital Project Manager serves as the main personal accountable for completing the digital projects correctly the first time and to provide appropriate feedback to the stakeholders to make the process as efficient as possible. The use of Wrike (the LMS project management tool) is a key component to this role. This role must focus on consistent and accurate use of Wrike, ensuring all digital tactic workflows are monitored and completed through use of Wrike timelines. Continuous learning is an important aspect of this role, relying on after-action reviews, metrics, and documentation to improve the process. The associate is expected to be “partnership-minded” and a creative problem-solver who supports achievement of the brands and affiliates goals while seeking ways to apply process in the most effective manner. Key Objectives/Deliverables: Know Lilly’s processes, brand strategies and tactics, and support resources.
• Understand Lilly’s culture, organizational structure, roles, and practices.
• Know Lilly’s products and services, associated brand strategies and disease states.
• Understand and anticipate workload down to tactic level - using Wrike as the source of truth
• Model strong knowledge of tactic lifecycle, from project kick-off through withdrawal from the market
• Demonstrate knowledge of tactic types and associated business rules
• Comprehending systems, software and project/content management tools such as Wrike and Veeva Vault
• Partner with Promotions Managers and Strategic Account Leads and provide timelines, regular status updates, issues and mitigate the same.
• Take ownership of the tactic review (MLRO) and development process in a timely manner into and out of initial development, into and out of edits / revisions, through test-send phase and finally through deployment phase
• Have a thorough understating of Lilly's Quality processes and must be capable of understanding and applying these processes and requirements when executing their role
• Surface issues with assets; surface questions about PCA feedback
• Identifying ways to continuously improve processes by exploring opportunities to reduce costs and by documenting the rationale behind tactic decisions
• Ask the right questions to your support team and supervisor and escalate quickly when required
• Ability to take the entire tactic through planning until AFD/deployment
Ensure quality, speed, value and compliance throughout the Customer Information Materials Lifecycle
• Work effectively with affiliates to understand needs, goals and objectives of building digital tactics using modular content
• Add value when attending critical brand planning meetings with affiliates to ensure tactics can meet brand teams’ expectations and timelines
• Troubleshoot barriers and provide solutions to deliver digital projects on time
• Identify ways to continuously improve processes by exploring opportunities to reduce costs and by documenting the rationale behind tactic decisions
• Actively participate in deviation investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts as role dictates
• Demonstrate Agile mindset while collaborating with the stakeholders Bring accurate and compliant insourced marketing tactics to market quickly, efficiently and on schedule
• Manage digital tactic review preparation and take ownership through the approval workflow as a core member of the Agile Brand team
• Compliance on project management documentation/ log maintenance/ Wrike compliance. All tasks are assigned and serviced only through Wrike in the system.
• Maintain accuracy and timely completion of Wrike tasks
• Participate in Agile stand-up meetings, retrospective meetings, etc
• Manage and track timelines for insourced tactics and key milestones
• Through understanding of Stakeholder Management and collaborate with Promotions Manager (PM), Strategic Account Leads (SAL) and Affiliate Brand Teams on material review and approval processes
• Anticipate potential problems by proactively communicating with brand teams Education Requirements: Bachelor degree with relevant work experience. MBA in Pharma/ IT/ Marketing from a reputed B-School or Master in Pharma/ Biotechnology/ Life Science Domain is preferred. Work Experience:
• 3 years of experience in Pharma /Marketing/ Digital Marketing/ Vendor Management experience. 3 Years of experience in Digital Content Project Management (e.g., Emailers, Web sites, and Banners etc.) is preferable.
• Experience on project management tools such as Wrike/ Workfront
• Hands on experience on Veeva vault and other tech tools is preferable but not mandatory
• Prior experience on Agile Methodology is preferable but not mandatory
• Proven ability to be an agile learner who’s proactive daily
• Demonstrated ability to be stress tolerant under a variety of work conditions
• Hands on experience project management tools and methodologies
o Create and manage projects on Project Management tools such as Wrike
o Develop thorough plan
o Monitor time and quality of deliverables
o Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks
o Ensure deadlines and objectives are met
• Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
