Job Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician
Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling manufacturing and assembly functions with a basic understanding of electronics such as printed circuit boards, electronic wafers and die, soldering, and component assembly, and using diagrams. You will also assist with loading and unloading equipment and packaging products in a controlled manufacturing environment, and tracking inventory of parts.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and guide team members in assembling components using various hand tools.Interpret and strictly follow digital assembly work instructions and schematics.Inspect connections for accuracy and ensure components fit flawlessly.Assemble mechanical, optical, and electronic components in a controlled environment.Execute the daily production schedule, review weekly and monthly production schedules, and follow current work instructions and good document practices for electronic product assembly.Work as an individual and as a team member to ensure all assigned tasks are completed on a daily basis.Understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field.Experience in cleanroom, electronics, electronic assembly, soldering, soldering assembly, and production.Proficiency with hand tools and small tools.Mechanically inclined.Experience with wiring, pallet jacks, loading/unloading trucks, and forklift operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers), loading docks, and pallet jacks is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures, including room temperature. The shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The team size is between 5-7 members, and you will report directly to the Hiring Manager. Day-to-day tasks will be given by the Hiring Manager or Shift Supervisor. Physical demands include the ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, sit, kneel, stand, crouch, and crawl.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
