Associate Marketing Manager, Commercial

Position Summary:
· The Assistant Marketing Manager, Commercial is responsible for supporting the overall Commercial Marketing strategy in engaging shop professionals to consider AutoZone as their parts supplier. They will manage the content strategy and execution of all Commercial customer marketing initiatives, including direct mail, email, and lead generation efforts. They will work with cross-functional teams internally and external agencies and partners to ensure brand standards are consistently met and performance exceeds our goals.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Oversee relationship with external creative agency and trade media partners, including contract negotiations, weekly status calls, briefings for content development, creative feedback, and approvals.
+ Align with Sr. Manager on targeting and communication strategies for direct marketing to key customer segments, testing a variety of deals, incentives, and content to attract attention, generate leads, and gain trial.
+ Develop multi-channel campaigns to reach professional customers with relevant messages delivered in different media (Direct Mail, Trade Content, Digital) and conduct A/B testing to measure effectiveness.
+ Partner with CRM team and trade media partners to map out customer journeys, grow our email list, and capture leads for our sales force.
+ Lead email marketing content strategy, working with agency, internal creative team, and CRM team to develop content for email campaigns to professional customers.
+ Manage DuralastParts.com website, working with agency and internal IT team to implement any content updates and monitor performance.
· Ensure our customer marketing efforts and agency projects stay within budget and support our overall Commercial Marketing strategy.
Position Skills and Requirements:
· BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or Advertising.
· 4+ years’ experience in advertising or marketing communications or agency account management.
· B2B direct marketing experience is preferred.
· Strong project management skills and experience managing external vendors or agencies.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Makes swift decisions, works through stressful situations, and solves problems quickly.
Performance Measures:
· Surpassing marketing performance KPIs (i.e. email open and click rates, leads generated, conversion, transactions, and sales).
· Successful agency relationships and management
· Managing projects on time and under budget
· 360-degree feedback from internal teammates; external partner feedback
