About the Team The Customer Experience (Marketing) team works to showcase our brand through the lens of expertise and love. They work to provide a personalized experience for our consumers backed by best-in-class, data-driven marketing capabilities. The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Everyone brings their own point of view to create a unique experience for the pets and pet parents. About the Location Hybrid Position: This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs. About the Job About The Job PetSmart is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager, Enterprise Brand Marketing to join our Integrated Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, the role blends retail and brand marketing skillsets to support consumer-centric campaigns and events that drive enterprise business performance and bring our “Anything for Pets” brand platform to life. This is a critical role for our team, and we’re looking for someone strategically-minded, proactive, and detail-oriented who can balance both creative and analytical work. You’ll flex between leading programs independently and supporting others in driving larger initiatives, with the opportunity to touch our full ecosystem of marketing efforts, including paid, owned, digital, in-store and event marketing activations. You should be comfortable working in a highly visible, dynamic environment with a knack for embracing ambiguity and change, and have a passion for brand storytelling and delivering best-in-class work. Key responsibilities include: Support the execution of enterprise marketing programs from inception through implementation, driving collaboration with cross-functional partners, tracking project process, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution Lead key owned initiatives from inception through implementation, developing strategy, driving execution and recapping results Lead in-store activations and experiences with a strong attention to detail and a high level of execution Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners in Customer Experience, Merchandising, Digital, and Store Ops to execute projects and measure results Manage marketing support requests from internal teams and the retail field for local marketing support Other duties as assigned EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 2-3 years related experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or customer experience Strategic retail, creative agency, or brand marketing experience is preferred Excellent communication skills Highly organized, with strong project management skills and an ability to efficiently prioritize projects on varying timelines Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively Ability to synthesize data and pull insights to create recommendations Proficient in Microsoft software applications A passion for pets and people Key Competencies: Customer Orientation Learning Agility Project Management Team Player/Cross-functional Partnership High Standards About the Culture At PetSmart, we work hard to create a culture where every associate feels like they truly belong and we celebrate the unique stories, backgrounds, and experiences our associates share.
