The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MT/MLS personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. They often work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, along with other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duties.

Required qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists. Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts. Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology.Or within 6 months (180 days) of hire National Laboratory Tech - United States Government (Vendor Managed).Preferred qualification:
