Position summary:
This position is primarily responsible for creating, editing, proofreading, annotating, and managing scientific content for physicians and allied healthcare providers (aHCPs) and providing strategic input for brand planning and competitive intelligence with a primary focus in hematology, oncology and Neurology. This position will also be responsible for supporting business/data analytics while working with internal members of multiple project teams to produce a range of scientific content and materials that satisfy the needs of our clients. The AMW will work very closely with leadership to steer scientific strategy for assigned initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assists in the development of promotional and other editorial content (slide decks, HCP tiering and biographies/backgrounders).Creates content for peer to peer programming activities.Provides strategic input for brand planning and competitive intelligence.Supports market research projects, tracker studies, Thought Leader identification and qualitative research.Represents S Phase at key client and industry meetings.Proofreads and annotates editorial work to comply with in-house, client, and/or American Medical Association (AMA) style guides.Researches and sources appropriate medical literature for editorial and data analytical projects and proposals utilizing various information sources such as journal subscriptions, academic libraries, and literature search databases.Continually monitors press releases and new publications for relevant client and competitor data.Summarizes data into tables, PowerPoint slides, and reports (above average ppt and excel skills).Establishes target dates for completion of assignments. Communicates with management when timelines are threatened. Establishes and enforces quality standards for documents.Implements the medical communication strategy for all regulatory submission documents as assigned.Implements project level data presentation and messaging standards for the assigned documents.Writes and/or assists in the writing of materials such as slide kits, sales training materials, advisory board materials/discussion guides, advisory board summaries and other new offerings developed by the company, and content for internet sites consistent with AMA, specific journal, or client style guidelinesRevises content and materials to improve accuracy, style, content or focus.Identifies when permissions are needed to be obtained for reproducing copyrighted material and work with appropriate program staff to obtain them.Follows governmental regulations and company standard operating procedures for document preparation.Requirements:

PhD in life sciences, PharmD or MD2+ years relevant medical information, communications, or marketing experience; commercial Pharma experience is highly desirableAbove average power point and excel skills requiredQualities:
