To learn more visit becu.org/careers. **PAY RANGE** The Target Pay Range for this position is $44.09-$53.89 hourly. The full Pay Range is $34.24-$63.75 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As an Associate Operations Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in configuring, maintaining, and supporting the systems that keep our business moving forward—both for our members and our internal teams. In addition, the Associate Operations Engineer is also responsible for supporting products and services hosted on-premises and in the cloud. This role opens doors to professional growth and a collaborative future with BECU’s dynamic technology teams. **** This is a hybrid role and will require you to be in the office (Tukwila Financial Center location) on an occasional as needed basis to support data center technologies, vendor visits, etc. **** **WHAT YOU’LL DO:** + **System Monitoring -** Regularly monitor system performance and respond to alerts within SLA. + **Troubleshooting -** Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application issues. + **Uphold Compliance Standards:** Drive excellence by following BECU’s competencies and upholding compliance, regulatory, and Information Protection requirements. + **Engage in Continuous Learning:** Participate in conferences, training, and communities of practice to stay aligned with industry and organizational advancements. + **Optimize** **Product Health:** Monitor and document product telemetry, analyze data for insights, and apply improvements to ensure peak product health and operational efficiency. + **Maintain Documentation Clarity:** Keep architecture and process documentation up to date and articulate high-level operations of products and services clearly to others. + **Automate with Precision:** Use scripting and automation tools to manage and streamline essential services, enhancing process efficiencies. + **Deliver Impactful Solutions:** Contribute directly to team success by creating solutions that align with customer and business needs and require minimal rework. + **Collaborate with Purpose:** Partner with team members to implement best practices for software and systems, using your expertise to meet specific requirements. + **Mitigate Risks:** Address system vulnerabilities and assigned risks proactively, ensuring configurations align with security priorities. + **Take On Diverse Tasks:** Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned, adapting to team and organizational needs. + **On-call support** rotations to provide 24 x 7 coverage will be required.
