The Associate Operations Coordinator performs basic operational tasks to meet the transportation needs of customers and carriers. With a sharp focus on data integrity, quality, and efficiency, the individual may perform operational tasks supporting a specific customer, vertical segment, or within a centralized operations center. Responsibilities will vary depending on the assignment.
ResponsibilitiesExecute tasks in accordance with office and company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs): providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building loads, assigning loads, scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments, entering events, and invoicing.Monitor task boards and assigned email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests.Document events utilizing knowledge gained through SOPs and experience, and follow defined escalation procedures and training when required.Follow through on customer or carrier requests to ensure satisfaction.Escalate questions or requests when necessary.Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to company and customer standards.Track shipments, enter data for shipments into the system, and communicate delays with all parties.Participate in team calls and meetings.Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to team and/or country-specific requirements.Essential SkillsExcellent communication skillsGood computer skills with basic knowledge of ExcelAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork orientationAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrior logistics experienceExperience in an open floor/pit settingAbility to take direction from multiple peopleHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious customer service experienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skillsPrior work experience requiring attention to detail and accuracyPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50
