Schedule specifics: Hours will vary between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Will need to work one late shift every 4th to 5th Tuesday (would be done at 7PM). Potential to move to four 10 hour days if interested (6:30 AM to 5:30 PM). It would be either Mondays or Fridays off if the role moved to 4 tens.Summary
Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider.Job Description
Assist the provider with procedures and care of the patient. Collect subjective and objective ophthalmic data from the patient or caregiver and communicates this to the doctor. Cross-training to support basic optical and/or access functions as needed.
Qualifications
High School graduate is preferred. Will provide training and education for required skills.Previous health care experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, and/or optical office preferred. Basic Life Support Certification required.
