HR Services team is responsible for providing quality support to employees of Bell Canada and its subsidiaries. These services include payroll administration, human resources transactions, management of unionized employee transfers, including eligibility for the Employee Discount Plan.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:\rThe Payroll Associate - Support Center is responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all payroll-related queries and questions are answered, and that our customers are redirected when necessary. The Payroll Associate - Support Center is also responsible for ensuring that the recommendations and advice offered to customers, as well as the processing of requests, contribute positively to the efficiency of payroll production and transactions.
Duties and responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant - Support Center include, but are not limited to:
(Suite)\rAnswer general payroll questions and requestsRedirect requests to the appropriate departments or services as neededPerforming what can sometimes be complex analysesUnderstand payroll processing and validation times Be able to explain tax slips while respecting laws, government requirements and collective agreementsAnswer questions about employee compensation with integrity and accuracyComplete declarations sent to various government agenciesTake the necessary measures to avoid generating additional lossesAccurately complete the various documents and carry out the necessary follow-upsCompliance with legal and regulatory requirementsUnderstand and coordinate compensation in detailExplain the precise and efficient processing of the various payroll components for employees of Bell and its subsidiariesAnalyze various reports and make the necessary correctionsUnderstand and be able to perform compensation calculations from gross to net pay, vacation calculations, etcMaintain the satisfaction and confidence of Bell and its subsidiaries' employeesAnalyze and process requests from various internal and external sources and be able to justify discrepancies while respecting service agreementsProduce specific reports, tax slips and all related documents for active employees, employees on sick leave and retirees using various applicationsInterpret and ensure compliance with various collective agreements and government legislationResolve first-line complaints, as well as unusual and complex situationsNegotiate reimbursement agreements with employeesEssential Skills / Competencies:\rKnowledge of payroll compliance legislationGeneral knowledge of payroll (understand and know how to explain pay stub, tax slips, etc.)Have completed or be in the process of obtaining ACP (Canadian Payroll Association) training or equivalency; or a minimum of at least 2 to 3 years of working experience in a complex payroll environmentWorking experience in a Customer service environmentAdvanced command of French and English, without any restrictions, as we serve all of CanadaProfessional relationship and interactions with English speaking customers or people outside of QuebecEffective organizational, planning and work prioritization skillsProven discretion and respect for confidential informationProven ability to work autonomously and as a team member according to the needs Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAttention to detail with a view to ensuring the accuracy of information provided to customersAbility to identify obstacles, take appropriate action, demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment and propose solutions and improvements to processesAbility to work and develop in a constantly changing environmentPreferred Qualifications / Competencies:\rHave a minimum of one year experience in a high-volume contact center environmentExperience Time Management (time administrator in SAP)Intermediate MS Excel (V-Look-up, PivotTable) / Validation test of knowledge will be givenIntermediate level of MS Word Knowledge of SAP P90/ SAP/ADP-Workforce Now/DayforceWorking Conditions:\rWork 7.5 hours from 7H30 am to 5h00 pmOvertime occasionalPossibility of remote work
