We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Platform Developer to join our team. In this role, you will support development and customization activities on "the platform," including coding, unit testing, building applications, and modifying existing applications. Your contributions will be essential in creating and maintaining robust technical solutions that meet business requirements. As an Associate Platform Developer, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions in accordance with requirements provided by the business and other IT areas. You will apply industry best practices to address system requirements, business processes, and evolving technology environments. Your role will involve creating new functionalities and modifying existing applications using appropriate technologies. You will participate in quality assurance testing and practices to ensure IT services meet requirements, work as planned, and integrate seamlessly with other IT services. Supporting the execution of business requirements, identifying risks in the development process, and performing root cause analysis for technical issues are key responsibilities. You will assist in the execution of upgrades and the implementation of future application phases. Documentation preparation, including technical reports and instructional manuals, will be part of your duties. You will provide training and support for designated customers, guided by higher-level peers or leaders, and support projects by conducting internal and external meetings as needed. Adhering to internal best practices, meeting budget and schedule commitments, and communicating project status to management are crucial aspects of the role. You will ensure performance measurements are met across development, delivery, operations, SLAs, and customer service. As you learn and understand the platform's capabilities and constraints, you will identify opportunities for system and process improvements. You will handle simple projects or participate in larger projects related to platform development and may provide on-call support during off-hours. What You Will Need: + Bachelor’s degree OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of IT experience. + Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
