Our Houston office is seeking an Associate Principal Healthcare Market Lead with significant experience to join our Houston office. We are looking for someone who can lead and mentor our multi-disciplinary teams and help deliver forward thinking healthcare designs that are sustainable and help solve our client's toughest issues. You'd be part of our leadership team in Texas and help deliver and drive strategy in the market. **The opportunity** + Be a Project Director and lead the overall design for hospital and healthcare projects. + Client manager for local Healthcare clients- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare owners for the purposes of acquiring repeat business. + Identify and pursue business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and lead proposal and bid submissions. + Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to meet revenue and profit goals while implementing financial controls and risk management. + Align contracts with the firm’s objectives and ensure projects meet contractual and regulatory requirements. + Supervise a team of engineers in design delivery. Provide support and development opportunities through the assignment of work and stretch tasks. + Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences. + Oversee project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. + Establish quality assurance processes, manage project risks, and ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and contractual standards. + Act as Lead Engineer or Engineer of Record on assigned projects. + Foster team member development through mentoring, promotion, and review processes. + Build design group skills in the provision of sustainable designs based on most recent scientific evidence in the field related to environments that support improved health and patient outcomes. + Lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage both technical and financial performance, and oversee resource planning. **The skills** + Significant experience designing hospitals from concept design through construction administration and commissioning of systems. + Experience leading project teams on medium to large scale projects + Minimum 20 years of professional experience in electrical building design, with at least 15 years within the healthcare market. + Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required. + PE in Texas + Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering for large building projects. + Strong project management experience, particularly in large projects. + Proven leadership in electrical design, with a client-focused, collaborative approach. + Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. Options for alternative schedules and the ability to work outside of the office for a portion of your workweek are available Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Houston is $160,000 to $200,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
