We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Principal Specialist to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for support and management of multiple technologies related to all aspects of US Injectables IT.  Collaborates with US Injectables business and IT centers of excellence to ensure that technology operations support business operations and projects are delivered according to plan. This role should have very strong functional and process experience as some projects or initiatives may have a high-risk profile . Highly preferred to have Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical experience and familiarity with IT systems and applications used in the Pharmaceutical industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Act as internal consultant and solution specialist for US Injectables Operations, coordinating across the IT organization in support of the business. This person may be a subject matter expert, or they may help subject matter experts recommend and apply solutions to complex issues in collaboration with business leaders. Provide IT technical support for US Injectables Operations applications. Coordinates troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to US Injectables IT. Collaborate with US Injectables business and IT centers of excellence to ensure technology operations support business operations. Manage project intake and delivery for US Injectables IT. This may involve working with all levels of the business. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency within U.S. Injectables IT operations. Monitor IT trends and advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within U.S. Injectables Operations.Support the development and maintenance of documentation (new and existing) for technical procedures and processes for US Injectables IT. Oversee training and support for users on US Injectables IT systems and applications.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline or relevant work experience

EXPERIENCE

Minimum:   5+ Years of overall experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing technology/operations preferred 3-5+ years in a specialized field. Experience with IT systems and applications used in the Pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing technology/operations preferred Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. GMP)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP ERP Functional experience Previous project management experience
