Join our team as an Associate Process Improvement Engineer, where you’ll lead transformational improvements and ensure smooth production operations. **Position** Associate Process Improvement Engineer **Location** USA, Louisville, KY **How You'll Create Possibilities** As an **Associate** **Process Improvement Engineer** , you’ll play a vital role in optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure uninterrupted production. You'll develop Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards, implement Lean manufacturing principles, and drive key improvements to boost equipment efficiency. **Manufacturing Operations:** + Support Value Stream Business Leaders by leading operational and improvement activities for assigned production areas. + Oversee daily production start-up, ensuring lines are operational and appropriately staffed. + Monitor performance metrics, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale, aligning them with department goals. + Facilitate the escalation process for production downtime and abnormalities. + Uphold Lean manufacturing practices and ensure 5S standards are consistently met. **Continuous Improvement:** + Champion continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving within production areas. + Lead kaizen events and implement effective countermeasures to improve processes. + Utilize Yamazumi charts for production rebalancing and drive overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvements. **Leadership & Administration:** + Provide active leadership and work direction for production teams, ensuring fair and consistent administration of policies. + Oversee staffing and employee timecards while ensuring accurate payroll and overtime compliance. + Lead disciplinary investigations in partnership with HR and maintain accurate records. **Quality Assurance:** + Ensure production lines consistently deliver defect-free products that meet specifications. + Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and implement scrap prevention measures. **Safety Focus:** + Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and promptly addressing accidents or near misses. + Lead accident investigations and implement corrective actions to enhance workplace safety. **What You'll Bring to Our Team** **Minimum Qualifications:** + BS/BA degree required, ideally in engineering, supply chain management, or business. + Leadership experience and/or technical acumen within the supply chain (ie: manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials, quality, procurement, fulfillment, or related functional area). + The position supports 24/7 manufacturing facilities.
