Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA or our Seaport Boston, MA location with Mondays & Fridays remote.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and strategic sourcing activities of indirect categories within our Cooperative. Your focus will be on developing and executing category strategies, negotiating contracts with suppliers, optimizing cost savings and maintaining quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives and help build a high-achieving supply chain. Additionally, you will work with internal business stakeholders to manage supplier relationships to ensure adherence to contract requirements.A Day in the Life...
Assists in building strategies for assigned categories to support improvements in cost effectiveness and supplier service levels and quality while focusing on mitigating risk.Executes category sourcing strategies including RFIs and RFPs, develops selection criteria and drives optimal supplier selections in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Conducts supplier negotiations and contracting, and coordinates with stakeholders on program implementation and ongoing supplier management.Researches and provides information on category trends and best practices.Actively seeks opportunities to streamline business processes.What We Are Looking For:

Manufacturing-related experience (consumer/food/beverage preferred)Contract negotiation/contract development and review experienceERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, etc.) and S2P system (e.g., Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, etc.) experienceStrategic sourcing and supplier relationship experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEducation:
