The Associate Creative Producer is a versatile supporting role within the Global Marketing Operations team, collaborating with Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh brands. This position works across Print Production, Creative Production, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) teams to create efficiencies, manage custom platforms, and ensure high-quality deliverables. The role engages with internal and external partners to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and maintain brand integrity.
Reporting to the Creative Production team lead, this is a full-time position based in Austin, TX at our downtown HQ office (550 Bowie St) with the expectation of being in-office five days a week.
Responsibilities:
Support various production projects across print, digital, and creative domains in a high-volume, quick-turn retail environment for both Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh.
Manage print production and fulfillment of in-store signage, regular promotions & event kits, weekly circulars, and miscellaneous collateral.
Assist in the management and optimization of Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, including user permissions, content organization, and workflow processes.
Collaborate with Creative Production teams to support project timelines, resource allocation, and quality control.
Gain proficiency in current portals for item/quantity ordering systems and on-demand requests for store and marketing stakeholders' needs.
Foster strong relationships with marketing stakeholders across Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh to create regular engagement and collaboration.
Partner with Procurement to assess needs, improve efficiency, and identify best-fit partners without bias.
Create win-win partnerships with vendors and external collaborators.
Manage operational and functional changes across various teams through creation of standard operating procedures and training materials
Drive operational excellence by actively engaging in marketing plans and processes across print, digital, and creative projects.
Provide regular reporting on production tracking, needs, expenses, and recommended improvements across all areas of responsibility.
Support the maintenance and optimization of DAM systems, including fielding user requests, assisting with content management, and liaising with technical teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Art, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Minimum 2 years' professional experience in print production, creative production, or digital asset management, preferably in a fast-paced brand or agency environment
Thorough understanding of printing processes, including paper/substrates, materials, and coatings, with knowledge of eco-friendly options
Familiarity with Digital Asset Management systems and workflows
Experience with creative production processes and timelines
Desired experience in managing or supporting custom order and fulfillment platforms
Knowledge of direct mailing requirements, including USPS regulations
Experience in managing production budgets and expenses; ability to forecast financial needs
Experience with international vendors (e.g., Canada and UK) is a plus
Strong collaborative skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders to gain consensus and clarity
Excellent listening skills to understand team needs and create solutions
Resourceful self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency in relevant software tools for production management and digital asset handling
