Summary: The Associate Product Developer - FootJoy Apparel will work closely with the design team to develop FJ apparel collections for worldwide markets. Be responsible for the product development cycle from design submit through bulk production to drive our brand momentum. Attention to detail and organization are essential to managing the development process.

Responsibilities:

Work with design team to create garment tech packs including size specifications, colorways, embroidery detail and trims for the worldwide FootJoy apparel lines.  Using PLM software to provide clear direction to our Hong Kong sourcing office on all product details.  Manage and update these design files as required for our Asian sourcing office and garment factories.  Maintain technical packages by updating CADs, BOMs, and specs as styles evolve. Liaison between global product teams and our Asian sourcing team.  This includes communication regarding tech packs, color matching, fabrics and sample evaluation in tandem with the design team.  Communicate with Hong Kong sourcing office to implement edits in PLM. Work with US apparel team to establish seasonal apparel collections, create mood/trend boards, merchandising displays, sales meeting support, etc. Organization of design related materials and files for the apparel team.  Maintain a timeline for all regions to ensure product samples are on schedule.  Track all proto samples through fit process schedule.  File submit approvals for labdips, strikeoffs, and trims.  Adhere to deadlines established in seasonal calendars to ensure on time delivery.  Maintains and updates fabric and trim libraries. Prepare for fit sessions by measuring and organizing samples.  Assist in quality control checks on bulk product.  Partner with onsite embroidery facility to run testing on new fabrications and garments.

Requirements:

BA degree required, preferably in design, fashion or fine arts. 2 years of design related experience with an active sportswear background is preferred. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Strong interpersonal skills needed to work effectively in a team environment.  Proficiency in Illustrator and Excel.  Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to complete multiple tasks and have tremendous organizational skills.

Salary: $66,300-$82,800
