What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help us build an innovative product portfolio. The ideal candidate is a proactive and problem-solving person with a passion for product development. This person will report to the product development manager and will work closely with our design, engineering, sourcing, brand, and quality teams to ensure 4.5+ star ratings on all our products.
The Associate Product Development Engineer is responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of the assigned projects. They support project integration, control, and completion, working under the guidance of senior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
How you will contribute:
Maintain project plans provide regular progress reports and communicate development status to the product development team Assist in the development of new products based on marketing and design input Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new product features and functionalities Utilize CAD software to create and evaluate product designs Assist in the creation of prototypes to evaluate proof of concept and functionality Conduct performance testing on prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications Document testing results and assist in analyzing data to improve product performance Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and design reviews Assist in direct communication with suppliers ensuring successful transfer of product requirements to manufacturing Work closely with cross-functional teams, including industrial design, marketing, and quality, to ensure seamless product integration and manufacturability Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the development process Other duties may be assignedYou will have:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical preferred) Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience, in consumer electronics, medical, or baby industries preferred Experience reviewing engineering drawings and CAD, experience with SolidWorks preferred Must have strong organizational skills for successful project execution Fluency in written and oral communication skills in English, and Chinese is a plus Must be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong soft skills and diligent communication are a must

Compensation Range: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour (DOE)
