Watts is looking for an innovative Associate Product Manager that will provide daily and ongoing product and project support to the Product Management team including monthly and quarterly financial sales, margin tracking, analysis, new product development interdepartmental project interface, customer support and quotation assistance, sales group assistance as it relates to product issues, and field support at trade shows and where needed to support product lines. Under the guidance of the Senior Product Manager.
You Will:
Support and lead teams in new product launches using the Stage Gate process, managing projects with Engineering and Product Development to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Update databases, collect product requirements, and establish foundations for business cases; develop dashboards for analytics and serve as the team’s Power BI expert.
Provide product training to sales representatives, distributors, customers, and end users, educating them on product applications and advantages.
Collaborate with manufacturer representatives on product education and market outreach.
Create product documentation and sales collateral for technical presentations and training.
Travel to gather Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights, developing relationships with manufacturer reps and specialized distributors.
Communicate company messaging to representatives, engineers, distributors, and contractors, attending tradeshows and industry events as needed.
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree.
2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry (flow/flow control preferred), with an understanding of backflow prevention, fluid mechanics, and mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with process piping, valves, and fittings in commercial plumbing, municipal, waterworks, and industrial processes.
Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and related piping industry codes and standards.
Understanding of sales channels, including distribution, contractor, end-user, and specifying engineers.
Project Management and Product Analyst skill set, with a customer-centric, data-driven mindset.
Ability to learn new business systems (e.g., Power BI) quickly.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
