Position Summary:

The Associate Product Manager will develop procedure specific surgical applications that are used on robotics and navigation systems by working with top surgeons and cross-functional engineering teams. This person will be required to act as the voice of customer on complex, multi-disciplinary development projects. The position will be hands-on and requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment. Must be enthusiastic, positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, interpersonal relationships, flexibility and maturity.

Essential Functions:

Collaborates with management to establish strategic plans and objectivesCreates and manages a project plan for each project in conjunction with the product development teamLead development efforts associated with the User Interface and User Experience with softwareMaintain relationships with Design Team Surgeons through regular meetings and communication of projects progressPerforms and maintains a market analysis for each assigned product segment to identify new offerings and line extensionsLeads coordination and documentation of project team activities including: kick-off meetings, design review meetings, verification/validation activities and cadaver lab utilizationDevelops market introduction plans for each productForecasts and oversees inventory management for all projectsEnsures timely and high-quality documentation of DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs for each project according to the company’s quality policy and regulatory bodies[OC1] [HC2] Obtaining market feedback from surgeons and other customers to determine functional specifications for new product developmentPartnering with the operations department to setup manufacturing and/or purchasing as appropriate for each projectParticipating in product introductions through sales training, customer calls/visits, etc.Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresenting the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of related experience;Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced project management skillsExperience with new product introduction and lifecycle managementAdvanced critical thinking and problem-solving skillsProficiency in using Microsoft Office productsAbility to travel up to 20% of the timeOpen to travel to attend surgeries and labs when needed
