Associate Product Manager

Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Associate Product Manager. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for product information including technical specs, sales material, cross-reference tables and tools for the launch of new products and maintenance of existing lines. This role will work with the Product Manager in the development, growth, and expansion of the Online UPS portfolio.

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,700 a year.

What you’ll do: Develop product information, application data, and web content for the 1Ph Online UPS product linesResearch competitors and develop competitive comparison analysis for sales and partners, highlightingEaton’s product strengths and total solutions for the marketAct as a technical expert to support sales and support teams on customer opportunities and escalations when required. Channels to market include IT pros and resellers, electrical distributors, datacom agents, OEM’s, end users and manufacturer’s agents.Communicate market trends, assist with Voice of Customer research in coordination with the Product Manager, to D-IT leadership team and other stakeholdersUpdate website and technical documents to reflect new product offerings and create tools to assist with product selection and competitive cross referencingAssist product managers, channel marketing, and marketing team on messaging and promotionsRegister products for sale in SAP and make updates to existing products as neededAttend 2-3 shows/partner events a year to assist in communicating our product line and building partner/customer relationshipsField escalated technical inquiries and provide timely response to centralized Technical Support TeamInterface with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing on product changes or issue resolutionBasic (Required) Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree from an accredited educational institution2 years of sales, engineering, program management, sales or marketing professional experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipNo relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of Raleigh, NC or Woodridge, IL office. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineeringTechnical knowledge of single-phase UPS systemsUnderstanding of PROLaunch Product Development process or similar stage gate processExperience with SAP, Enovia, and Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) is desiredFamiliarity with PCM and/or PDH (Product Data Hub) for updating product informationPosition Success Criteria: Ability to travel up to 10%Attention to detail, thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasksStrong verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative work style and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsAbility to learn, articulate, and support complex products and technologiesAbility to multitask and complete projects with tight deadlinesAbility to work in a dynamic market with changing requirements, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments
